Didi Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Sobera in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Mateus Paraense got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 9 played minutes Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Breckenfeld. A hard shot 10 in the game by Luiz Guilherme Matorin from a close distance when the talented Alfredinho Velloso managed to make a qualified save. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's players were relieved. Marcelo Diniz struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Alfredinho Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcellos Mineiro FC. In the 13th minute of the match, Marcelo Diniz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfredinho Velloso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Osvaldinho Hoffmann hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match Paulão Tinoco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredinho Velloso skillfully saved the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Luiz Guilherme Matorin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredinho Velloso. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Guilherme Matorin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Alfredinho Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Diniz in the 24th minute of play. Didi Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Sobera in the 25th minute of the match. Mateus Paraense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Alfredinho Velloso made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Waldemar Mangueira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredinho Velloso. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Barcellos Mineiro FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gonçalo Reis took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gonçalo Reis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Didi Dionísio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anacleto Sobera to make the kick off. Anacleto Sobera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Dionísio having to interfere. Fernandinho Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Mateus Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Velloso having to interfere. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Waldemar da Mata was substituted for Ediberto Gaúcho. 71 minutes into the match, Mateus Paraense notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Alfredinho Velloso. Alfredinho Velloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute Osvaldinho Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Souza. In the 82nd minute Osvaldinho Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Osvaldinho Hoffmann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Didi Dionísio. Osvaldinho Hoffmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. In the 90th minute, Anacleto Sobera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Didi Dionísio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After a rather tough play, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Nestor Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
