Paulinho Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 8th minute Washington Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulinho Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulinho Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Paulo Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14thth minute of the game Arnaldo Ortega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Paulinho Viana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oséas Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Militros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when José Carlos Guedes came free, but Oséas Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulinho Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute, Armandinho Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st match minute, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Pena to maneuver through the defense. After 28 minutes of play, Militros F.C.'s Washington Peixoto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulinho Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armando Pena hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Renatinho Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Washington Peixoto during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oséas Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carlos Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Washington Peixoto might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulinho Viana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Washington Peixoto ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnaldo Ortega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulinho Viana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Militros F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Ortega made a kick off. The supporters of Militros F.C. booed when THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armandinho Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Washington Peixoto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Paulinho Viana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Paulinho Viana got control of the ball when Arnaldo Ortega tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Renatinho Lago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulinho Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Militros F.C.'s Ronaldão Silva was substituted for Renatinho Lago. Oséas Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Paulinho Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Machado in the 80th minute of play. Militros F.C.'s Francisco Regis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Baltazar Pernambucano, made in the 88th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Betão Machado took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Paulinho Viana to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Militros F.C. booed when THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Militros F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
