With a little luck, Stowe City's Dillon Yoder got control of the ball when Lawrence Smart tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth Sargent came free, but Jim Mitchell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamar Maxwell hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Kenneth Sargent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Mitchell having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Sargent in the 35th minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Jim Mitchell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cruz Biggs charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cruz Biggs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Santos FC booed when Stowe City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cruz Biggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kris Marks scored 2-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dillon Yoder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Desmond Rowell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kenneth Sargent made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Marks came free, but Dillon Yoder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nolan Hollis charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nolan Hollis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Nolan Hollis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stowe City's Dillon Yoder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Marks in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Ladd came free, but Dillon Yoder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dillon Yoder came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Santos FC's Kris Marks. But to his dismay, Kris Marks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kris Marks in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dillon Yoder saved Stowe City from getting behind. Ricky Gardner hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Kris Marks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dillon Yoder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute, Kris Marks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dillon Yoder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Ladd, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Many of Stowe City's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Stowe City may have spent more time on the ball, but Santos FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
