With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theo Boeve in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerben Reiling saved The Underdogs from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Niels-Jan van Zijl managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Underdogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Niels-Jan van Zijl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryan de Kort breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niels-Jan van Zijl might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ryan de Kort. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niels-Jan van Zijl ran back to his position shaking his head. Ryan de Kort made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Niels-Jan van Zijl sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niels-Jan van Zijl in the 24th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Ryan de Kort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes FC Bal op het Dak got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Blaauwgeers. In the 26th minute of the match Jonathan de Freitas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ryan de Kort showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerben Reiling showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Izaak Achterberg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Gerben Reiling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Boeve in the 38th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Derk Spijkerman during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marinus Mols kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Theo Boeve to make the kick off. The FC Bal op het Dak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ryan de Kort should have stopped the shot. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 94 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Derk Spijkerman.
