Sidney Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Tadeu Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Vasco FC's Tiago Gabriel Mesquita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aloísio Magalhães. Aloísio Magalhães yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The wind increased when Enio Britto made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Nunes FC's zone, Jonas Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Magalhães came out of the goal and Jonas Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Raphael de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Enio Britto put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wellington Barbosa. After a rather tough play, Vasco FC's Raphael de Medeiros got a free kick in the 67th minute. Raphael de Medeiros might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aloísio Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raphael de Medeiros ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enio Britto in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aloísio Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael de Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Gil Motta hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes Vasco FC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Tinoco. 94 minutes into the game, Jonas Veloso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Aloísio Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vasco FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nunes FC for a fine match.
