Zemantauskas FC's Jano Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 5 played minutes Zemantauskas FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Rossi. Germano Bertassi hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Jarbas Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Vieira having to interfere. After some careless play in the SAS defense, Gonçalo Rossi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Vieira. The SAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Vieira should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Zemantauskas FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Igor Eger hit a great ball. Joel Macedo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Tiaguinho Carneiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in SAS's zone, Gonçalo Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Vieira came out of the goal and Gonçalo Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Monteiro in the 38th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Macedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiaguinho Carneiro. That made the score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zemantauskas FC's Igor Eger got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Jarbas Mesquita made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiaguinho Carneiro. Zemantauskas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio Carlos Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 95th match minute, SAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Maia to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the game, Antônio Carlos Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zemantauskas FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, SAS's Antônio Carlos Machado got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the SAS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
