Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tarcisio Saraiva started the match with the kick off. Sebastião Furtado succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastião Furtado got free with Jânio Esteves in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jânio Esteves was a little too slow when Sebastião Furtado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 2-0. A collision led to GLADIADORES getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Pedro Paulo da Silveira hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio Saraiva came free, but Eurico Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Pedro Paulo da Silveira scored to the left of an out of position Jânio Esteves, making the score, 3-0. 22 minutes into the match, Pedro Paulo da Silveira notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Jânio Esteves. Jânio Esteves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jânio Esteves came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by GLADIADORES's Pedro Paulo da Silveira. But to his dismay, Pedro Paulo da Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastião Furtado in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jânio Esteves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastião Furtado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Jânio Esteves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 33 minutes into the game, Pedro Paulo da Silveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jânio Esteves. Pedro Paulo da Silveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. In the 37th play minute Sebastião Furtado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jânio Esteves. 7-0. Eurico Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarcisio Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

GLADIADORES's Valdir Sergipano was substituted for Zé Augusto Cruz. Jeremias Secco hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Sebastião Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute Sebastião Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jânio Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Jânio Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Sergipano in the 62nd minute of play. When Túlio Perez came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the GLADIADORES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Túlio Perez couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Arthur da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jânio Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, GLADIADORES's Sebastião Furtado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jânio Esteves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. In the 79th minute, Túlio Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 minutes of play, GLADIADORES's Túlio Perez made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jânio Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! GLADIADORES made a substitution. Cido Goiano replaced José Paulo Magalhães. Jânio Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jânio Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Furtado in the 96th minute of the match. Frédson Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Esteves having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. GLADIADORES had played much better football throughout.
