Helder Marty was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hipolito Oyanguren hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Helder Marty showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lucas Cepa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Helder Marty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Cepa charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Cepa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Cepa to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eneto Bruñon during the 55th minute. Helder Marty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blai Zarandona, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 72 played minutes ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► got a freekick which was hit by Ariando Belda. Helder Marty was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Blai Zarandona showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 79 minute of play. Gilmar Cuadrillero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 88th minute, Gilmar Cuadrillero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Helder Marty. The goal made the score 1-7. 91 minutes into the game, Blai Zarandona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Helder Marty. Blai Zarandona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. Blai Zarandona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helder Marty having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Sporting Buceo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►.
