When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Petter Skarkman sped through Billesholm's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Algot Palmquist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Quinten in the 18th minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Ingemar Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Protegéerna's Ossi Eloranta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anderson Rudolfo, made in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th minute Jan Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algot Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Protegéerna's corner Petter Skarkman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Algot Palmquist quite easily take care of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Anderson Rudolfo in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Protegéerna's Jan Persson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petter Skarkman in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Algot Palmquist saved Billesholm from getting behind. With 30 minutes on the clock, Ernst Ahlbom commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Algot Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Skarkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billesholm's Algot Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Skarkman in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petter Skarkman to make the kick off. Algot Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 65 minutes of play, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Algot Palmquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rickard Spets charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rickard Spets the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Billesholm's Algot Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Skarkman in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Rickard Spets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Billesholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Spets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Algot Palmquist came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman. But to his dismay, Petter Skarkman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 93 minutes into the match, Petter Skarkman notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Billesholm's Algot Palmquist. Algot Palmquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Protegéerna walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
