The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 17th minute, Emalia Olkusz's Wiktor Sidor seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Wiktor Sidor the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Emalia Olkusz protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wiktor Sidor had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Witomir Gajewski shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Emalia Olkusz's Hemminki Koivula got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Witomir Gajewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sunday Niedziela having to interfere. Baboszewo's Wincent Kasprzykowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Rawa in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Emalia Olkusz booed when Baboszewo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Henric didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baboszewo's Wincent Kasprzykowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Grøtterud in the 34th minute of play. Martin Grøtterud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Emalia Olkusz's zone, Witomir Gajewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sunday Niedziela came out of the goal and Witomir Gajewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baboszewo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Witomir Gajewski in the 48th minute. After taking down the ball on Baboszewo's corner Witomir Gajewski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sunday Niedziela quite easily take care of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Innar Laaneloog made a kick off. Baboszewo's Wincent Kasprzykowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Baboszewo from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute Innar Laaneloog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Kasprzykowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 played minutes Emalia Olkusz got a freekick which was hit by Ryan Miazga. Witomir Gajewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sunday Niedziela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After 69 minutes, Witomir Gajewski made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Emalia Olkusz's Sunday Niedziela tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emalia Olkusz made a substitution. Stein Jamieson replaced Martin Grøtterud. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Olaf Rawa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olaf Niemojewski's late challenge caught a Emalia Olkusz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 90th minute of the match Emalia Olkusz got a corner. Baboszewo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Olaf Rawa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Emalia Olkusz's Marcin Zworski to fire away a dangerous shot which Wincent Kasprzykowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wincent Kasprzykowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Innar Laaneloog's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Witomir Gajewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Sunday Niedziela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Witomir Furgat kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
