A collision led to TeamGurre getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jon Røboe hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Steenbeck in the 7th minute of play forced TeamGurre's goalkeeper Calvin Euvrard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TeamGurre's Calvin Euvrard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radim Gola in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, TeamGurre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ejnar Cristoffanini to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon Røboe during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 29 minutes into the match, TeamGurre's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Steenbeck came free, but Calvin Euvrard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Bruno Steenbeck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Jon Røboe in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Randers A.F.C.'s Alberto Dunixi. Nichlas Vesterdahl was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jann Seemholt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 35 minute of play. Calvin Euvrard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Steenbeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes of play TeamGurre's Jon Røboe was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Randers A.F.C. booed when TeamGurre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Røboe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Steenbeck scored 1-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Calvin Euvrard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolai Gydam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Calvin Euvrard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Steenbeck in the 53rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Henning Jersing in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Randers A.F.C.'s Roland Chrzan. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruno Steenbeck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Calvin Euvrard. That made the score 1-3 in the 56 minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind TeamGurre's goalkeeper Calvin Euvrard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arthur Shelby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Calvin Euvrard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TeamGurre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Bruno Steenbeck scored to the left of an out of position Calvin Euvrard, making the score, 1-4. Randers A.F.C. made a substitution. Terri Bulk replaced Bruno Steenbeck. Randers A.F.C.'s Joel Wiltshire was substituted for Zbyszko Drozdowski. 71 minutes into the game, Randers A.F.C.'s Terri Bulk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Calvin Euvrard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. With a little luck, TeamGurre's Calvin Euvrard got control of the ball when Arthur Shelby tried to sneak it across the goal line. Terri Bulk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Calvin Euvrard made a huge save. After a rather tough play, TeamGurre's Henning Jersing got a free kick in the 85th minute. Arthur Shelby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terri Bulk in the 88th minute of play forced TeamGurre's goalkeeper Calvin Euvrard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TeamGurre's Calvin Euvrard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save TeamGurre from getting a goal against them. In the 90th match minute, TeamGurre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henning Jersing to maneuver through the defense. Calvin Euvrard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terri Bulk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Randers A.F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Randers A.F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
