With his leg Andreas Hansen managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when TeamGurre's Freddi Jellingsø fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of TeamGurre booed when FC Nordsjælland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svenåge Ellefsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Yulian Kichukov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvin Euvrard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calvin Euvrard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrad Harder in the 24th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Nordsjælland defense, Jann Seemholt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Hansen. The FC Nordsjælland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Hansen should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yulian Kichukov in the 28th minute of play forced TeamGurre's goalkeeper Calvin Euvrard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Hansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolai Gydam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Yulian Kichukov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvin Euvrard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes TeamGurre got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Wils. When Conrad Harder came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC Nordsjælland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrad Harder couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddi Jellingsø was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Yulian Kichukov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Calvin Euvrard. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 57th minute, Jann Seemholt made a precise shot to the right of Andreas Hansen. FC Nordsjælland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Jann Seemholt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jann Seemholt managed to get in a good position for a shot. TeamGurre's supporters rose to their feet, but Jann Seemholt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andreas Hansen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC Nordsjælland getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Paul Caniggia hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goal looked a bit too open when Ejnar Cristoffanini came free, but Andreas Hansen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in TeamGurre's zone, Yulian Kichukov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calvin Euvrard came out of the goal and Yulian Kichukov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, TeamGurre's goalkeeper Calvin Euvrard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yulian Kichukov. Igor Ebbrecht's late challenge caught a FC Nordsjælland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Ebbrecht helped the player get up and apologised. Igor Ebbrecht hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Nordsjælland getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Svenåge Ellefsen hit a great ball. The supporters of TeamGurre booed when FC Nordsjælland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Caniggia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jann Seemholt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Andreas Hansen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Hansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolai Gydam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Nordsjælland's Paul Caniggia got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Conrad Harder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Nordsjælland players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for TeamGurre.
