The throw-in from Váldson Mesquita in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A Gryffindor's Bill Bill. 9 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Hedin came free, but Cássio Corinth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s De-la-Cruz de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Crescencio in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Jerônimo Moreno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cássio Corinth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A Gryffindor's Rene Crescencio. But to his dismay, Rene Crescencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some careless play in the BARBARIDADE G.M. defense, Rene Crescencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of De-la-Cruz de Alcântara. The BARBARIDADE G.M. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that De-la-Cruz de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. After 28 played minutes BARBARIDADE G.M. got a freekick which was hit by Ribamar Orange. Fabrício de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s De-la-Cruz de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Crescencio in the 32nd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Rene Crescencio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of De-la-Cruz de Alcântara. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rene Crescencio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After the first half C.A Gryffindor were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexander Hedin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Rene Crescencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BARBARIDADE G.M.'s De-la-Cruz de Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 52nd minute of the match C.A Gryffindor got a corner. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rene Crescencio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led C.A Gryffindor's Rene Crescencio to fire away a dangerous shot which De-la-Cruz de Alcântara despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rene Crescencio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without De-la-Cruz de Alcântara having to make a save. C.A Gryffindor's attentive Ramiro Passos managed to snatch the ball when Váldson Mesquita made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. Rene Crescencio struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A Gryffindor. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Luiz Fábio Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without De-la-Cruz de Alcântara having to make a save.
