If Léo Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Valencia scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Paulo de Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nilmar de Souza scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Paulo de Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Nilmar de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Paulo de Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 19 minutes into the match, México Eterno MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar de Souza came free, but Luís Paulo de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nilmar de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Paulo de Toledo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Alisson Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Prestes in the 25th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Fred Valencia made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Paulo de Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th match minute, México Eterno MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Salles to maneuver through the defense. After 37 played minutes México Eterno MZC got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Baiano. Fred Valencia hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Luís Paulo de Toledo came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Léo Vargas. But to his dismay, Léo Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 43rd minute, Gerson Rezende left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Léo Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Luís Paulo de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. México Eterno MZC's Luís Paulo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Valencia in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Valencia made a kick off. The supporters of INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA booed when México Eterno MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, México Eterno MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Valencia came free, but Luís Paulo de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Fred Valencia notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of México Eterno MZC's Luís Paulo de Toledo. Luís Paulo de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 60 minutes into the match, INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Gordeenko came free, but Alisson Goycochea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the México Eterno MZC defense, Fred Valencia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Paulo de Toledo. The México Eterno MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Paulo de Toledo should have stopped the shot. México Eterno MZC's Edmílson Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, México Eterno MZC's Luís Paulo de Toledo got control of the ball when Fred Valencia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedrinho Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Luís Paulo de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Valencia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Nilmar de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Paulo de Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Luís Paulo de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Valencia, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Fred Valencia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but México Eterno MZC's Luís Paulo de Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nilmar de Souza took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Paulo de Toledo. Luís Paulo de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
