The Meninos De Cotia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Rodrigues should have stopped the shot. Tanush Çarçani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Hugo Rodrigues made a huge save. The attack was good, but when Jeremias Seco in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Faustin Ostermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22ndth minute of the game Faustin Ostermann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Germano Arósio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Meninos De Cotia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Inácio Sampaio scored to the left of an out of position Hugo Rodrigues, making the score, 2-0. In the 27th minute of the match, Inácio Sampaio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hugo Rodrigues saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Meninos De Cotia's Hugo Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Queraria in the 28th minute of play. Faustin Ostermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Germano Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Rodrigues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Secco in the 32nd minute. After some careless play in the Clube Atl. Taquaritinga defense, Faustin Ostermann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Germano Arósio. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Germano Arósio should have stopped the shot. After having played for 42 minutes, Paolo Maldini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meninos De Cotia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Maldini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th match minute, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Faustin Ostermann made the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Aloísio Medeiros in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Meninos De Cotia's Silvestre Corderro. Germano Arósio made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Faustin Ostermann sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Meninos De Cotia's Faustin Ostermann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Germano Arósio. Germano Arósio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Jeremias Seco charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Seco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanush Çarçani, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Jeremias Seco took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Germano Arósio to make any attempt to save it. Meninos De Cotia made a substitution. Baladi Asenjo replaced Paolo Maldini. Jeremias Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Germano Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atl. Taquaritinga from getting a goal against them. Meninos De Cotia made a substitution. Osvaldo Velasco replaced Jeremias Seco.
