To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, Washington dos Santos notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Ismael Pereira. Ismael Pereira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Roceira SC had played much better football throughout.
