Benjamin Egehøj was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Mineiro in the 6th minute of play forced STØD-G™'s goalkeeper Benjamin Egehøj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Egehøj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Mineiro in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Célio Vianna during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Célio Vianna hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Pedrinho Guimarães was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Teis Harkild. Benjamin Egehøj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Dionísio in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Benedito Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castanheiro SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STØD-G™ the free kick. 28 minutes into the match, STØD-G™'s goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Dionísio came free, but Benjamin Egehøj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinho Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zacharias Ramtung in the 30th minute. Benjamin Egehøj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Mineiro in the 33rd minute of play forced STØD-G™'s goalkeeper Benjamin Egehøj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Egehøj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Mineiro in the 35th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Umberto Dionísio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castanheiro SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half Castanheiro SC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ulisses Senna replaced Virgílio Salgado. STØD-G™ made a substitution. Peter Solomon replaced Roland Elleboe. In the 61st minute, Anísio Alagoano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benjamin Egehøj, passed just outside the right post. In the 63rd match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Vianna to maneuver through the defense. Castanheiro SC's Pedrinho Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Kingston in the 66th minute of play. Benedito Mineiro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Benjamin Egehøj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Alagoano in the 75th minute of play. Tobias Kingston struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Pedrinho Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STØD-G™. Benjamin Egehøj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anísio Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Egehøj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Alagoano in the 85th minute of the match. Teodor Sieling's late challenge caught a Castanheiro SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodor Sieling helped the player get up and apologised. Teodor Sieling kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, STØD-G™'s goal looked a bit too open when Anísio Alagoano came free, but Benjamin Egehøj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Castanheiro SC's Ulisses Senna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Edinho Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The STØD-G™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Castanheiro SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
