With a little luck, Thracian F.C's Mihăiţă Huțanu got control of the ball when Nils-Emil Hedbom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ghost Hunters were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Thracian F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bengt-Rune Rudkvist took the corner. When Thracian F.C's Iustinian Todoran in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a left leg Stig-Arne Biörnberg saved Ghost Hunters from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Frâncu came free, but Stig-Arne Biörnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Thracian F.C's Iustinian Todoran in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Iustinian Todoran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iustinian Todoran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stig-Arne Biörnberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. When the match was over Thracian F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ghost Hunters throughout the match.
