The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Red Army:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CRICIÚMA E.C.:s goal. The referee gave CRICIÚMA E.C. a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlinhos Motta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Red Army's Witold Ochylski. 0-1. Carlinhos Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cauã Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Witold Ochylski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Witold Ochylski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Red Army's Patryk Marut got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, CRICIÚMA E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emil Debowski came free, but Aloísio Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlinhos Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Carlinhos Motta hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. CRICIÚMA E.C.'s Michel Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Witold Ochylski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlinhos Motta struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Witold Ochylski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CRICIÚMA E.C.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã Sampaio in the 40th minute of play forced Red Army's goalkeeper Witold Ochylski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Red Army's Witold Ochylski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Motta in the 43rd minute of play. Cauã Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patryk Marut kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radowit Watarz in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aloísio Pirani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Red Army's Witold Ochylski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Red Army from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the game, Carlinhos Motta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Witold Ochylski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Radowit Watarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Pirani having to interfere. Carlinhos Motta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Witold Ochylski made a huge save. Red Army's Witold Ochylski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Rosa in the 68th minute of play. When Carlinhos Motta came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the CRICIÚMA E.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlinhos Motta couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radowit Watarz in the 72nd minute of play forced CRICIÚMA E.C.'s goalkeeper Aloísio Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Carlinhos Motta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Witold Ochylski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute, CRICIÚMA E.C.'s Severino Leão ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Witold Ochylski. Witold Ochylski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The crowd rose to their feet as CRICIÚMA E.C.'s Cauã Sampaio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Witold Ochylski. That made the score 1-5 after 86 minutes of play. In the 94th minute, CRICIÚMA E.C.'s Carlinhos Motta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. CRICIÚMA E.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
