The tension between the FC POLI TIMISOARA and the Dalmore players grew even worse after the yellow card. 4 minutes into the match, Dalmore's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Tărău came free, but Dre Teunis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Alexandru Maghear cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dre Teunis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Emilian Tărău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Alexandru Maghear shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dre Teunis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Culiță hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Albert Stelea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dre Teunis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Dalmore's Tomas Huijbrechs ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cazimir Marincean. Cazimir Marincean yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. With an all-out effort, Dalmore's Cazimir Marincean threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfred Leers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dre Teunis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilian Tărău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilian Tărău was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Robert Nestor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dre Teunis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 58 minutes into the game, Dalmore's Joseph De Coster nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cazimir Marincean made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Cazimir Marincean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Van den Berchen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Huijbrechs scored 4-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cazimir Marincean, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dre Teunis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Tărău, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilian Tărău got free with Dre Teunis in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 69 played minutes Dalmore got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Huijbrechs. Nistor Oroian, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cazimir Marincean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Huijbrechs, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. A collision led to FC POLI TIMISOARA getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Irinel Breazu hit a great ball. Dre Teunis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilian Tărău in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Tomas Huijbrechs made a precise shot to the right of Cazimir Marincean. FC POLI TIMISOARA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. Dre Teunis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Tărău in the 83rd minute of the match. Alexandru Maghear recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joseph De Coster took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cazimir Marincean. Cazimir Marincean dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. 94 minutes into the match, Joseph De Coster had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cazimir Marincean. FC POLI TIMISOARA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joseph De Coster was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-3. Dalmore's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
