Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tanio Mascaro started the match with the kick off. When Attard Gunners's Thomas Zrinzo in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Eterno Campeón's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Zrinzo in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Daneri saved El Eterno Campeón from getting behind. Attard Gunners's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by William De Lucca in the 7th minute. The corner ended in William De Lucca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Eterno Campeón's Leandro Daneri did a great save. In the 8th minute, Vicens Aguila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Attard Gunners fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Attard Gunners's Thomas Zrinzo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 19 minutes into the match, El Eterno Campeón's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy Bonello came free, but Leandro Daneri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Jeremy Bonello put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Leandro Daneri. In the 26th minute, Thomas Zrinzo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Attard Gunners fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Leandro Daneri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy Bonello in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the El Eterno Campeón defense, Nigel Apap kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Daneri. The El Eterno Campeón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Daneri should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremy Bonello in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Daneri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Jeremy Bonello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Daneri was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When Attard Gunners's Thomas Zrinzo in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Eterno Campeón's goalie prevented a goal. Brian Urpani struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Leandro Daneri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Attard Gunners. After 45 played minutes El Eterno Campeón got a freekick which was hit by Yeray Saul. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Eterno Campeón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. William De Lucca was slow to take the kick. During this time Attard Gunners's players had a chance to rest. Xosé Jullian thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Leandro Daneri, a very annoying self made goal in the 48th minute which led to 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jeremy Bonello made the kick off in the second half. Leandro Daneri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Zrinzo in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute, Thomas Zrinzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Daneri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. With a little luck, El Eterno Campeón's Leandro Daneri got control of the ball when Thomas Zrinzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Liam Trapani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jake Debono hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Tanio Mascaro hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Tanio Mascaro stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Attard Gunners's defenders and the ball went out. El Eterno Campeón appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Thomas Zrinzo in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leandro Daneri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 90th play minute Thomas Zrinzo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leandro Daneri. 0-10. Leandro Daneri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremy Bonello in the 94th minute of the match. Leandro Daneri came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Attard Gunners's Thomas Zrinzo. But to his dismay, Thomas Zrinzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. Attard Gunners's Clyde Schembri Zerafa was substituted for Jeremy Bonello. Attard Gunners played a much better game than El Eterno Campeón and deserved their victory. The El Eterno Campeón players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
