Matías Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Chirnoagă having to make a save. In the 11th minute, Josué Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Cristian Ciurea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Férid Khalifa was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Calistrat Guriță to make the kick off. In the 83rd minute of the match, Calistrat Guriță got a very nice opportunity to score, but Férid Khalifa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Calistrat Guriță might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Férid Khalifa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calistrat Guriță ran back to his position shaking his head. Férid Khalifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radu Toacsen in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Horaţiu Tuleiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th match minute, Botafogo MZRJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Quintal to maneuver through the defense. Locomotiva Adjud's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
