In the 6th match minute, Virga City Vipers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lamar Anderson to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Leonzio's goal looked a bit too open when Kareem Richter came free, but Alvaro Borgatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Hudson Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Lynch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Borgatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamar Anderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Virga City Vipers were awarded a corner. Florian Hood went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Virga City Vipers's corner Benito Byrd fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alvaro Borgatello quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonzio's Ennio Lemme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardo Lynch. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Lamar Anderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, one of Leonzio:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Leonzio. Florian Hood scored 5-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvaro Borgatello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonzio were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Virga City Vipers for a fine match.
