MACUMBA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barreal FC the free kick. A collision led to MACUMBA getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Chico Paraíba hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Barreal FC's Niceto Leguizamón nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurício da Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Niceto Leguizamón took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurício da Silveira. Maurício da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In the 39th minute, Honorio Efraim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício da Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Matheus Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matheus Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barreal FC booed when MACUMBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matheus Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorio Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46thth minute of the game Honorio Efraim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MACUMBA's Maurício da Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 47 played minutes Barreal FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Herensuge. The MACUMBA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barreal FC were winning 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chico Paraíba was the one to do the kick off. Nicolas-Gabriel Otamendi might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurício da Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. MACUMBA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Herensuge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Barreal FC's Honorio Efraim was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Siro Abajas kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, MACUMBA's goalkeeper Maurício da Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorio Efraim. Maurício da Silveira came out of the goal and Honorio Efraim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 97 in the game by Honorio Efraim from a close distance when the talented Maurício da Silveira managed to make a qualified save. MACUMBA's players were relieved. When the match was over Barreal FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MACUMBA throughout the match.
