Cafu Silveira scored 2-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavril Jucu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, PIRATAS TFP's Filipe Neiva got a free kick in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When Cafu Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the PIRATAS TFP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cafu Silveira couldn't finish the play. PIRATAS TFP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cafu Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elfii's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
