Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Club Vertigo's Dumitru Mavrogheni started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Remus Greavu came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mavian UFC's Ciprian Prutean. But to his dismay, Ciprian Prutean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ronaldinho Ronaldo's late challenge caught a Mavian UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldinho Ronaldo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mavian UFC booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho Ronaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 minutes of play, Mavian UFC's Bogdan Buga made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remus Greavu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marian Volontir's late challenge caught a Club Vertigo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Volontir helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Mavian UFC got a freekick which was hit by Marian Volontir. 16 minutes into the match, Bogdan Buga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remus Greavu. Club Vertigo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogdan Buga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Remus Greavu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Prutean in the 29th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitalie Colibã during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mavian UFC's Vitalie Colibã got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ciprian Prutean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Greavu having to interfere. When Bogdan Buga came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Mavian UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogdan Buga couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the game, Dan Berceanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Vertigo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mavian UFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Vertigo's Dan Berceanu got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Dumitru Mavrogheni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorin Simionescu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iulian Cazacu to make the kick off. Iulian Cazacu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Remus Greavu came out and tried to block the shot, but Iulian Cazacu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 53rd minute. A hard shot 57 in the game by Bogdan Buga from a close distance when the talented Remus Greavu managed to make a qualified save. Club Vertigo's players were relieved. 58 minutes into the match, Iulian Cazacu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remus Greavu. Club Vertigo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iulian Cazacu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. In the 62nd match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Dan to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Iulian Cazacu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Greavu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Cazacu in the 68th minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Remus Greavu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Berceanu got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Iulian Cazacu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Remus Greavu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Vertigo's Remus Greavu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Vertigo from getting a goal against them. Dumitru Mavrogheni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Victor Dan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ion Cârlig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciprian Prutean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Club Vertigo's Remus Greavu got control of the ball when Ciprian Prutean tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mavian UFC's Vitalie Colibã got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Mavrogheni in the 94th minute of play forced Mavian UFC's goalkeeper Ion Cârlig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Club Vertigo's Victor Dan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ion Cârlig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Mavian UFC played a much better game than Club Vertigo and deserved their victory. The Club Vertigo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
