Alfredinho Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peep Pronk, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's attentive Betão Veiga managed to snatch the ball when Rodion Nikitin made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. Isaac Incendio kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Peep Pronk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfredinho Gerber, 1-0. In the 21st minute of the game Modesto Jaunzuria made a throw-in which Peep Pronk played forward. Alfredinho Gerber made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Peep Pronk sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Alfredinho Gerber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peep Pronk. Modesto Jaunzuria made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Isaac Incendio. In the 47th minute, Daniel Bertoni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Eyague was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peep Pronk to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Peep Pronk managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC LeX Luthor's supporters rose to their feet, but Peep Pronk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredinho Gerber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute of the game Modesto Jaunzuria made a throw-in which Peep Pronk played forward. Daniel Bertoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fulgencio Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Zeledon Savion replaced Hermenegildo Ventura. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Savion in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredinho Gerber saved C.U.E. DE COMERCIO from getting behind. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Savion in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute Zeledon Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Salvador Romano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Eyague was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Alfredinho Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Ciuvică in the 82nd minute of play. The AC LeX Luthor fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when AC LeX Luthor's Zeledon Savion looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alfredinho Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Romano in the 95th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredinho Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Savion, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute Zeledon Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
