In the 2nd match minute, Ricart Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper Joachim Holmgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Andréas Strömberg came free, but Willian Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute of the game Hernani Sabóia made a throw-in which Shi Li Sha played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Ramalho in the 26th minute of play forced FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper Joachim Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joachim Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Ramalho in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, FC Hackspett U21's Andréas Strömberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willian Valladares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 32 played minutes Ricart Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Frank de Moraes. 35 minutes in the game Hernani Sabóia did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Shi Li Sha. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miromir Szostak in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willian Valladares saved Ricart Futebol Clube from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miromir Szostak in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willian Valladares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute FC Hackspett U21 were awarded a corner. Ye Feng Feng went to the cornerflag to take it. Ye Feng Feng made a great header on FC Hackspett U21's corner, it was just that Ricart Futebol Clube's Willian Valladares managed to reach the ball for a save. Willian Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Szostak in the 39th minute of play. After the first half FC Hackspett U21 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ye Feng Feng kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the game Magnus Grubb made a throw-in which Shi Li Sha played forward. 58 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joachim Holmgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Abel Ramalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joachim Holmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of Ricart Futebol Clube booed when FC Hackspett U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Abel Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joachim Holmgren. FC Hackspett U21's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 76th match minute, FC Hackspett U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andréas Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Frank de Moraes in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Hackspett U21's Kara Melo. Willian Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Szostak in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Hackspett U21's Wilhelm Kilberg got a free kick in the 94th minute. It was beautiful to see Ricart Futebol Clube's Reinaldo Palmeira in action when he in the 96th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!
