Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guilherme Marinho, made in the 8th minute of the game. Jarana FC's Tadeo Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Sousa in the 12th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Wilfredo Gitano took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Orlando Dante to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th minute, Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Orlando Dante. Orlando Dante yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Wilfredo Gitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Orlando Dante made a huge save. Nicolas Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Distiratsu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. Tadeo Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Montesclarense E.C.'s zone, Wilfredo Gitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Dante came out of the goal and Wilfredo Gitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Montesclarense E.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Wilfredo Gitano scored to the left of an out of position Orlando Dante, making the score, 3-0. In the 38th match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Dante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Gitano in the 39th minute. Jarana FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Montesclarense E.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Apolo Enaut took the corner. The tension between the Montesclarense E.C. and the Jarana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfredo Gitano made a kick off. Orlando Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Gitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Jarana FC booed when Montesclarense E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
