Jacinto Barto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Jaen came free, but Jacinto Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Sαηgrε Azuɭ were awarded a corner. Moises Bartolome went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Celso Gauargi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a little luck, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Benedicto Iago got control of the ball when Niceto Xacintu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Niceto Xacintu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benedicto Iago was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Benedicto Iago got control of the ball when Moises Bartolome tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benedicto Iago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Xacintu in the 22nd minute. After 24 played minutes Sαηgrε Azuɭ got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Xacintu. After a defensive mix-up in Sαηgrε Azuɭ's zone, Silverio Vachon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Barto came out of the goal and Silverio Vachon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Sαηgrε Azuɭ defense, Silverio Vachon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto Barto. The Sαηgrε Azuɭ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Barto should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Victorino Henry recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benedicto Iago. Victorino Henry showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Jacinto Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Benitez in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Xacintu got free with Benedicto Iago in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Rogelio Jaen got a free kick in the 40th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Vachon to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Rogelio Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sαηgrε Azuɭ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cosme Sustrai hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Jaen in the 57th minute of play forced Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goalkeeper Jacinto Barto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Benitez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Jacinto Barto made a huge save. The supporters of Sαηgrε Azuɭ booed when Defensores de Mar de Ajó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Ferrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Jaen got free with Jacinto Barto in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niceto Xacintu struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Benedicto Iago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sαηgrε Azuɭ. 67 minutes into the game, Rogelio Jaen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jacinto Barto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rogelio Jaen scored 1-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Barto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benedicto Iago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niceto Xacintu went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Benedicto Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Bartolome in the 78th minute of play. Silverio Vachon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Jacinto Barto 79 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Rogelio Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th play minute Rogelio Jaen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacinto Barto. 2-5. Jacinto Barto made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Salvador Benitez sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute of the match Defensores de Mar de Ajó got a corner. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jairo Ferrando ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Jairo Ferrando to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacinto Barto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 95th minute, Rogelio Jaen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores de Mar de Ajó fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6.
