After 25 minutes of play, Barrialito AFC's Osvaldo Oihan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Eduardo Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Basilio Llanos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nereo Maju was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Washington dos Santos came free, but Basilio Llanos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Barrialito AFC booed when Roceira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Barrialito AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barrialito AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
