Jacobo Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Jaizki kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Paunero's Pastor Quirce got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Paunero's Pastor Quirce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernandão Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 45 played minutes Paunero got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Jaizki. Luiz Gustavo de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Paunero were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Loyola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jacobo Tino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alonzo Gervaso hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Pedrinho Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot. México Eterno MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrinho Loyola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Tino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, México Eterno MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Valentine came free, but Fernandão Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Paunero defense, Almir Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Tino. The Paunero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Tino should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the game, México Eterno MZC's Pedrinho Loyola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Tino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 88 minutes into the game, Anselmo Alcântara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Jacobo Tino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Norberto Valentine scored 4-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernandão Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
