The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Caco Mota hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, Tiago Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th match minute, Romando Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Prestes to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Romero made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Tiago Machado sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute Os 11 garotos were awarded a corner. Dieguinho Neiva went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caco Mota in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Romero saved Romando Futebol Clube from getting behind. Marcel Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Prestes in the 15th minute of play. When Dieguinho Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Os 11 garotos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dieguinho Neiva couldn't finish the play. Marcel Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival de Toledo in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Caco Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aníbal Velasco hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes Romando Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Tepedino. Os 11 garotos's Marcel Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival de Toledo in the 34th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Romando Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Dieguinho Neiva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angelo Romero. Romando Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiago Machado to make the kick off. Angelo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Machado in the 53rd minute of the match. Angelo Romero came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Os 11 garotos's Caco Mota. But to his dismay, Caco Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 65 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's Samuca de Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Mota narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 68 minutes of play, Os 11 garotos's Tiago Machado made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romando Futebol Clube's Angelo Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Baiano in the 74th minute of play. After 74 minutes, Mazinho Prestes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Romando Futebol Clube and the Os 11 garotos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Romando Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho Prestes. In the 77th minute of the match Os 11 garotos got a corner. Romando Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dieguinho Neiva ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tiago Machado succeeded in the game's 79th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. The supporters of Os 11 garotos booed when Romando Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Dieguinho Neiva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Romero skillfully saved the ball. When Moisés Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romando Futebol Clube's protests and gave Moisés Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Os 11 garotos booed when Romando Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Os 11 garotos had won after a very even match.
