Sixto Abarca hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes Lobo Guará got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Leão. Lino Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho de Brito in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes Alijilán returns's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roberto Baiano who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Roberto Baiano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lino Naelio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lino Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho de Brito in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of Alijilán returns booed when Lobo Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Sixto Abarca sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lobo Guará's Vânderson Esteves didn't even have to move. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafa Donatello was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Lobo Guará's Rafa Donatello made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Naelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lobo Guará's Jailson Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lobo Guará's Vitinho Andrade was substituted for Roberto Baiano. Lino Naelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Donatello in the 60th minute of play. Genílson Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Alijilán returns defense, Genílson Faria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Naelio. The Alijilán returns fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Naelio should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Donatello in the 66th minute of play forced Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Lino Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alijilán returns's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Genílson Faria scored to the left of an out of position Lino Naelio, making the score, 0-6. In the 75th match minute, Lobo Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Vianna to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Bide hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Lino Naelio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Vitinho Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Naelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro de Salles in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Iuri Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lobo Guará's Rafa Donatello suffered a concussion in the 92nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 92 minutes into the game, Sixto Abarca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alijilán returns's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lobo Guará the free kick. After 93 played minutes Alijilán returns got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Abarca. Lino Naelio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adalberto Fantini in the 95th minute.
