The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Arruda got free with Marcelinho Teles in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 6th play minutes Benjamin Arruda shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Marcelinho Teles and just under the crossbar into goal. Marcelinho Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Arruda in the 9th minute. Jânio Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Luís Fernando Vaz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabinho Mesquita. Fabiofs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Breno Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Marcelinho Teles made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Benjamin Arruda sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Cachaça FC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Teles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Arruda. Didi Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Benjamin Arruda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Marcelinho Teles made a huge save. Benjamin Arruda had several of the Cachaça FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Marcelinho Teles as he didn't even see the shot coming. Marcelinho Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Osvaldo Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabinho Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fabiofs booed when Cachaça FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelinho Teles made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Benjamin Arruda sent off a good shot on target. Delfim Tróia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelinho Teles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto de Godoi made a kick off. Marcelinho Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Arruda in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Benjamin Arruda notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Cachaça FC's Marcelinho Teles. Marcelinho Teles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute Delfim Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fabiofs's Benjamin Arruda in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Delfim Tróia sped through Cachaça FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelinho Teles. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Tróia in the 88th minute of play forced Cachaça FC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
