After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonides Eyague made a kick off. Evaristo Cerezo's late challenge caught a Hermosillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. Evaristo Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Cordareo to maneuver through the defense. After 58 played minutes Hermosillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Eyague. When João Vítor Galvão fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futuros FC's protests and gave João Vítor Galvão a yellow card for diving instead. Honorio Tabor in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. João Vítor Galvão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clodoveo Fanuco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Sousa came free, but Clodoveo Fanuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Vítor Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
