The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Gunther Van Landewijck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Awizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, KS Blizne's goalkeeper Daniel Awizo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunther Van Landewijck. Czeslaw Palzewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Herald Wouqier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Geetsvondel²'s Toon Hofnagels in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 21stth minute of the game Marek Treppa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geetsvondel²'s Herald Wouqier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herald Wouqier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Palzewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christiaan Caes hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Andries Poortmans's late challenge caught a KS Blizne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andries Poortmans helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Geetsvondel² got a freekick which was hit by Andries Poortmans. Roland Rudy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Herald Wouqier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Rudy in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herald Wouqier saved Geetsvondel² from getting behind. KS Blizne were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Geetsvondel²'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marek Treppa took the corner. In the 42nd minute Toon Hofnagels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Awizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Christiaan Caes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geetsvondel²'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS Blizne the free kick. Christiaan Caes hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes of play, KS Blizne's Roland Rudy made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herald Wouqier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gunther Van Landewijck to make the kick off. Leonard Kostrzewa hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 53 played minutes, Geetsvondel²'s Christiaan Caes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Awizo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Geetsvondel² reached it. Roland Rudy came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Herald Wouqier could save by the left post. Herald Wouqier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Rudy in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Czeslaw Palzewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herald Wouqier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Awizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toon Hofnagels in the 61st minute of play. If Marek Treppa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Awizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunther Van Landewijck in the 68th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Leonard Kostrzewa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of KS Blizne booed when Geetsvondel² was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiaan Caes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Rudy kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Geetsvondel² was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunther Van Landewijck to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Awizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toon Hofnagels, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 84th match minute, Geetsvondel² was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludwig Van Gestelt to maneuver through the defense. When Marek Treppa came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the KS Blizne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marek Treppa couldn't finish the play. The supporters of KS Blizne booed when Geetsvondel² was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Van Gestelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Ludwig Van Gestelt suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Czeslaw Palzewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Czeslaw Palzewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Geetsvondel²'s Christiaan Kustermans was substituted for Ludwig Van Gestelt. The supporters of Geetsvondel² booed when KS Blizne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Palzewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marek Maurycy kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Christiaan Kustermans shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for KS Blizne's Daniel Awizo to catch but Christiaan Kustermans was lucky. It became 1-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
