Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Villaverde Celeste Clube's Amílton Antunes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Dunamis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Ceandro to maneuver through the defense. After 4 played minutes, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Mané Garrincha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ovidio Gabino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villaverde Celeste Clube reached it. Miguel Botelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Ovidio Gabino made a huge save. Cosme Ceandro hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Miguel Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Gabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Villaverde Celeste Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Antunes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Dunamis's Augusto Fresco got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 24 played minutes Dunamis got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Emeterio. Dunamis's Ovidio Gabino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Dunamis from getting a goal against them. Tin Larin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Fernandez having to interfere. When Epifanio Abar came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Dunamis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Abar couldn't finish the play. Ovidio Gabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Botelho in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tin Larin was the one to do the kick off. Augusto Fernandez came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dunamis's Orlando Precioso. But to his dismay, Orlando Precioso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Augusto Fernandez came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Dunamis's Carmelo Cristofor. But to his dismay, Carmelo Cristofor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Botelho in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Gabino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute Miguel Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Gabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villaverde Celeste Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mané Garrincha in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Carmelo Cristofor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dunamis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villaverde Celeste Clube the free kick. A collision led to Dunamis getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Carmelo Cristofor hit a great ball. Ovidio Gabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Botelho in the 85th minute of play. Dunamis's Carmelo Cristofor got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Carmelo Cristofor off the ground. After 87 played minutes Dunamis got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Cristofor. Augusto Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Santiago Benet sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, Dunamis's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Botelho came free, but Ovidio Gabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
