Thomas Odman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Várzea F.C.'s Murilo Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Nyberg in the 18th minute of play. Murilo Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Nyberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Marques took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torbjörn Helander. Torbjörn Helander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Rubinho Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torbjörn Helander. 1910 Di Blåe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rubinho Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Várzea F.C.'s Murilo Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Dahlberg in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Lars Dalkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1910 Di Blåe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Várzea F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, 1910 Di Blåe's Lars Dalkvist got a free kick in the 37th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Várzea F.C.'s Joaquim Marques slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Torbjörn Helander. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. Várzea F.C.'s Murilo Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Dahlberg in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Várzea F.C.'s Aníbal Paes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0.

The wind increased when Joaquim Marques made the kick off in the second half. 1910 Di Blåe's Torbjörn Helander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Paes in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Dahlberg in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murilo Peixoto saved Várzea F.C. from getting behind. Filipe Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Jonas Nyberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Murilo Peixoto. The goal made the score 4-1. Jonas Nyberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 minutes of play, Várzea F.C.'s Joaquim Marques made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torbjörn Helander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Torbjörn Helander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Mendes in the 71st minute of play. Jonas Nyberg struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Murilo Peixoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1910 Di Blåe. The long shot by Henry Dahlberg in the 81st minute really tested Murilo Peixoto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Roberto Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Várzea F.C.'s protests and gave Roberto Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Várzea F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Roberto Mendonça hit a great ball. Várzea F.C. were furious when Roberto Mendonça was red carded, 98 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 98 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Várzea F.C.!
