Dalmo Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute Pesqueira City were awarded a corner. In the 8th match minute, Pesqueira City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro Borges to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, Jovens Democratas MZC's Jerome Rohrer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremias Orland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Benjamin da Fonseca put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dalmo Saldanha. After 21 minutes, Benjamin da Fonseca made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Jeremias Orland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Paes. Dalmo Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 25th minute of play. Dalmo Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Jerome Rohrer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jeremias Orland made a huge save. In the 32nd minute Benjamin da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jovens Democratas MZC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Can Sadov was slow to take the kick. During this time Pesqueira City's players had a chance to rest. Benjamin da Fonseca was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerome Rohrer in the 35th minute of play. Dalmo Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 36th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Mümtazer Kutlan in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pesqueira City's José Pedro Borges. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Pesqueira City from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland got control of the ball when Jerome Rohrer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeremias Orland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerome Rohrer in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin da Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. Benjamin da Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Dalmo Saldanha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin da Fonseca got free with Dalmo Saldanha in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Pesqueira City defense, Vítor Lenzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Orland. The Pesqueira City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Orland should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the game, Benjamin da Fonseca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dalmo Saldanha. Benjamin da Fonseca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. The supporters of Jovens Democratas MZC booed when Pesqueira City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Can Sadov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pesqueira City's Doriva Zanette was substituted for Can Sadov. After a rather tough play, Pesqueira City's Can Sadov got a free kick in the 68th minute. Benjamin da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Saldanha having to interfere. Jeremias Orland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico de Sousa in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico de Sousa in the 73rd minute of play forced Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Jeremias Orland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute of the game Mümtazer Kutlan made a throw-in which Jerome Rohrer played forward. Jeremias Orland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xu Li Sang in the 77th minute of play. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy de Brito in the 78th minute of play. Jeremias Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmo Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 84th minute of the match. Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Benjamin da Fonseca 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-5. Dalmo Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Benjamin da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pesqueira City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
