Zeca Brodel was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 90th minute of the match, Ferruccio Simeoni got a very nice opportunity to score, but Takis Koutsos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Reinaldo Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the The Beatles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaldo Trancoso couldn't finish the play. Eugenio Franceschelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Trancoso in the 94th minute of the match. The Beatles walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
