The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Håkan Fagrell got a throw-in 8 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fredrik Lundberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Latomme in the 13th minute of play forced Västerås City's goalkeeper Axel Kihlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Tocantinópolis EC's Axel Kihlberg threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Michel Bagge, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Västerås City's Axel Kihlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Västerås City from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Tocantinópolis EC's goal looked a bit too open when Verner Brandin came free, but Hélio Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tocantinópolis EC's Henk Latomme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Axel Kihlberg. That made the score 3-0 after 24 minutes of play. Henk Latomme did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Axel Kihlberg 29 minutes into the match. Michel Bagge was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Tocantinópolis EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Tocantinópolis EC's Henk Latomme in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Västerås City's goalie prevented a goal. The excitement rose when Tocantinópolis EC's Michel Bagge after 40 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Västerås City's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 5-0. Henk Latomme struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Axel Kihlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tocantinópolis EC. In the 45th minute, Tocantinópolis EC's Luís Eger seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luís Eger the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tocantinópolis EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luís Eger had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Tocantinópolis EC made a substitution. Dário Esteves replaced Michel Bagge. The referee gave Västerås City a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Andréas Wallander, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tocantinópolis EC's Hélio Gomes. 5-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henk Latomme to make the kick off. Västerås City's Axel Kihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Latomme in the 54th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, Tocantinópolis EC's Henk Latomme made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Axel Kihlberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the game, Tocantinópolis EC's Henk Latomme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Axel Kihlberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Axel Kihlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Cosme in the 65th minute of play. Axel Kihlberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henk Latomme's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Västerås City's Axel Kihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Latomme in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Henk Latomme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tocantinópolis EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. Tocantinópolis EC's Murillo Vargas was substituted for Henk Latomme. 85 minutes into the game, Iuri Cosme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tocantinópolis EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Västerås City the free kick. Iuri Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Tocantinópolis EC's Murillo Vargas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Axel Kihlberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-1. Murillo Vargas scored 11-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Axel Kihlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Tocantinópolis EC were the better team. Tocantinópolis EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
