In the 8th minute of the match Percy Secco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nigel Navarro skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Clube Atlético Luziense booed when CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nigel Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Meireles in the 11th minute of play. Laureano Rego could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Dadá da Mata made a huge save. Mai Yi Tian hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Veríssimo Pereira ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 26th minute, Laureano Rego left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 28 played minutes CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Pinho. A collision led to CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ivo Pinho hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Luziense's Percy Secco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. With an all-out effort, CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's Dadá da Mata threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Evandro Viana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diogo Arruda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Soeiro in the 52nd minute of play forced Clube Atlético Luziense's goalkeeper Dadá da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Laureano Rego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's Nigel Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS from getting a goal against them. After 58 minutes of play, CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's Evandro Viana made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dadá da Mata was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dadá da Mata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Esteves went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute Jorge Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dadá da Mata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Esteves's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
