The audience thought a goal was coming when Veniamin Shashkov got free with Evelio Salvadore in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergey Kachalov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of C.A.Esparta booed when Sportkarelclub FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veniamin Shashkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Sportkarelclub FC defense, Sven-Hendrik Ohmer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergey Kachalov. The Sportkarelclub FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergey Kachalov should have stopped the shot. Froilan Nerio kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Sergey Kachalov came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Esparta's Sven-Hendrik Ohmer. But to his dismay, Sven-Hendrik Ohmer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ronaldo Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The C.A.Esparta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The supporters of C.A.Esparta booed when Sportkarelclub FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. May Kropotov didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sven-Hendrik Ohmer came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the C.A.Esparta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Hendrik Ohmer couldn't finish the play. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergey Kachalov. Sergey Kachalov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 47th minute of play forced Sportkarelclub FC's goalkeeper Sergey Kachalov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Mouricio was the one to do the kick off. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergey Kachalov having to make a save. That made the score 0-9 in the 74 minute of play. Petr Hodulov lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sportkarelclub FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! When C.A.Esparta's Oswaldo Junior in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
