Stanislaw Fronczak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommi Armentier's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Nankatsu's Stanislaw Fronczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommi Armentier in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Eendracht Vooruit's Tommi Armentier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanislaw Fronczak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jorge Van der Vorst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Vieri in the 41st minute. Eendracht Vooruit's Tommi Armentier got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Jiang Zhen Sen made a precise shot to the right of Stanislaw Fronczak. Nankatsu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With his leg Stanislaw Fronczak managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Eendracht Vooruit's Tommi Armentier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nankatsu's goalkeeper Stanislaw Fronczak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Gery Burhanuddin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stanislaw Fronczak made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Gery Burhanuddin sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Van der Vorst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Emesto in the 93rd minute of play.
