The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Adam Valler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timóteo Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Lázaro Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henning Åström. Bajens Lirare BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sérgio Soeiro hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Lázaro Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the SC Cortinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Azevedo couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the match, Bajens Lirare BK's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Antas came free, but Henning Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Peder Johnsson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bajens Lirare BK's protests and gave Peder Johnsson a yellow card for diving instead. Peder Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Sérgio Soeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Henning Åström. Bajens Lirare BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lázaro Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henning Åström was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, SC Cortinhas's goalkeeper Timóteo Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Valler. After some careless play in the SC Cortinhas defense, Adam Valler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timóteo Amorim. The SC Cortinhas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timóteo Amorim should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Bajens Lirare BK's zone, Lázaro Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henning Åström came out of the goal and Lázaro Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th match minute, SC Cortinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Timóteo Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Julin in the 36th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Adam Valler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timóteo Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Lázaro Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. Timóteo Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Ahlkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timóteo Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Valler in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Adam Valler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timóteo Amorim was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, SC Cortinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Valler came free, but Timóteo Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timóteo Amorim came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Bajens Lirare BK's Nils-Emil Pedersson. But to his dismay, Nils-Emil Pedersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. SC Cortinhas's Timóteo Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Julin in the 66th minute of play. André Carneiro scored 2-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henning Åström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute Adam Valler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timóteo Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lázaro Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Lázaro Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Henry Julin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timóteo Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Loureiro hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Sérgio Soeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Adam Valler made a precise shot to the right of Timóteo Amorim. SC Cortinhas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Bajens Lirare BK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
