The corner ended in Augusto Oberrauch almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Capodrise's Davide Fiorentino did a great save. 11 minutes into the match, Davide La Marca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Davide Fiorentino. Capodrise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Davide La Marca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute Stelian Popeangă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Fiorentino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Stelian Popeangă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The As Melfi 1929 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Capodrise's Davide Fiorentino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Popeangă in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Capodrise's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon Walaszkiewicz came free, but Davide Fiorentino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beppe Russo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Eraldo Bulla made a huge save. In the 31st minute Augusto Oberrauch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Fiorentino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Oberrauch in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davide Fiorentino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Davide Fiorentino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Walaszkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Davide Fiorentino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Popeangă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Capodrise defense, Stelian Popeangă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davide Fiorentino. The Capodrise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davide Fiorentino should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Augusto Oberrauch made a precise shot to the right of Davide Fiorentino. Capodrise's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beppe Russo was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Augusto Oberrauch dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Davide Fiorentino, 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Popeangă in the 75th minute of play forced Capodrise's goalkeeper Davide Fiorentino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davide Fiorentino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Oberrauch in the 76th minute of the match. Davide Fiorentino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Lovera in the 77th minute of play. Antonio Lovera scored 0-9 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davide Fiorentino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Augusto Oberrauch received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Davide Fiorentino came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Oberrauch slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 88th minute. When Amos Corsi fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capodrise's protests and gave Amos Corsi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Capodrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amos Corsi to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Capodrise's Davide Fiorentino got control of the ball when 冯泉辉 tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Davide La Marca took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Davide Fiorentino to make any attempt to save it. As Melfi 1929's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
