Shen Yi Yuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Hurko in the 2nd minute of play. 3 minutes into the match, Jorg Pieters notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of MAN FC's Astor Rivas. Astor Rivas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Justino Orland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shen Yi Yuan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Urtsin Azcarate who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MAN FC's Astor Rivas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Astor Rivas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urtsin Azcarate, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A hard shot 14 in the game by Jorg Pieters from a close distance when the talented Astor Rivas managed to make a qualified save. MAN FC's players were relieved. Astor Rivas stood somewhat misplaced when Jorg Pieters came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. Shen Yi Yuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Hurko, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jeremias Rito's late challenge caught a Goblins F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Rito helped the player get up and apologised. Astor Rivas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtsin Azcarate in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Goblins F.C. were awarded a corner. Jorg Pieters went to the cornerflag to take it. Goblins F.C.'s Jorg Pieters was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Astor Rivas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 45th minute of the match Felipe Van Dijk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Astor Rivas skillfully saved the ball. In the 46th minute, Willian Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelino Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Shen Yi Yuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saverio Hurko made a kick off. With a little luck, Goblins F.C.'s Shen Yi Yuan got control of the ball when Marcelino Hug tried to sneak it across the goal line. Goblins F.C.:s Shen Yi Yuan showed great skill when he stopped Elias Skog:s penalty. Shen Yi Yuan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias Skog went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 70 minutes, Luís Paulo Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goblins F.C. and the MAN FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Luís Paulo Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorg Pieters struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Astor Rivas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goblins F.C.. MAN FC's Geronimo Giraldo was substituted for Alain Prost. The audience was convinced that Saverio Hurko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shen Yi Yuan was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 99 minutes, Shen Yi Yuan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Many of MAN FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. MAN FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Goblins F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
