A collision led to Barcelona getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Sören Mårtensson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Barcelona's Jack Caspersson got a free kick in the 5th minute. Barcelona's 马常辰 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Abelsson in the 7th minute of play. The Grosso United fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Grosso United's Gustavo da Costa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ulises Gartzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. 马常辰 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Ulises Gartzen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. 马常辰 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Grosso United's zone, Lukas Löfskog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Bladi came out of the goal and Lukas Löfskog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute Ulises Gartzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 马常辰 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Gartzen in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 马常辰 saved Barcelona from getting behind. Grosso United's Cayetano Xacintu got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Lukas Löfskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Bladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Barcelona booed when Grosso United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Gonchan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulises Gartzen to make the kick off. 马常辰 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Grosso United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barcelona:s goal. Jonas Bladi went to the wrong direction when Sören Mårtensson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a rather tough play, Barcelona's Sören Mårtensson got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 马常辰 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Abelsson in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Inge Tingberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcelona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grosso United the free kick. Åke Abelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Jonas Bladi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inge Tingberg in the 81st minute of play. When Åke Abelsson came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Grosso United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Abelsson couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona's zone, Åke Abelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 马常辰 came out of the goal and Åke Abelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grosso United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
