Gerry Franco scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Slavomil Kalný, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27thth minute of the game František Spousta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pueblo FC's Boyd Winkler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boyd Winkler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Martinů in the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Jaime McClendon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Slavomil Kalný was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jaime McClendon might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Slavomil Kalný. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime McClendon ran back to his position shaking his head. Slavomil Kalný came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Pueblo FC's Vern Wright. But to his dismay, Vern Wright quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With an all-out effort, Pueblo FC's Slavomil Kalný threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ari Willingham, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 44 minutes into the match, FC Cvikovo's goal looked a bit too open when Ari Willingham came free, but Slavomil Kalný reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestr Hanzlíček kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

FC Cvikovo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vern Wright was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.
